Birkbeck, University of London, is seeking a Lecturer in Physical and Environmental Geography to join our vibrant School of Social Sciences and play a pivotal role in shaping the intellectual future of our students. This is an exciting opportunity to be part of a bold and ambitious Geography subject group, situated in the heart of London's historic Bloomsbury area.
As part of our Geography subject group in the School of Social Sciences, you will have the opportunity to engage in teaching and research, and to contribute to the advancement of knowledge in your field.
As Lecturer in Physical and Environmental Geography, you will be teaching across undergraduate and postgraduate courses – with a particular focus on physical geography and environmental science modules and field teaching in the BSc Environment and Sustainability, BSc Geography, MSc Environment and Sustainability and MSc Climate Change. You will also contribute to shaping our exciting new curriculum and our vibrant research culture and environment, which includes the Birkbeck Research Centre for Environment and Sustainability.

Contract
This role is offered on an open-ended basis.
This is a full-time role, working 35 hours per week which includes delivering teaching in the evening.

Salary and benefits
The Lecturer grade of the College's London Pay Scale which is £43,265 rising to £59,454 per annum.
