Birkbeck, University of London, is seeking a fixed-term, part-time Research Assistant to join the School of Creative Arts, Culture and Communication this Summer 2025.
As Research Assistant you will be responsible for a new project on the impact of fertility treatment on Birkbeck staff, with the aim of informing policies to better support employees undergoing treatment.
The research explores how fertility treatment affects mental health, wellbeing, and work-life balance in the workplace.

Salary and benefits:
Pro-rated £38,443 rising to £43,636 per annum, Grade 6 of the College's London Pay Scale which includes a consolidated Weighting/Allowance that applies only to staff whose normal contractual place of work is in the London area.

Contract:
Fixed-term, 1 June - 31 January 2026 contract. Part-time working 60 hours across duration of the project. Flexibility and home working offered. Attendance is needed for two, in-person workshops.
