UWE Bristol School of Health and Social Wellbeing runs a range of postgraduate (PG), undergraduate (UG) and Continuing Professional Development (CPD) programmes related to nursing, and a MSc and BSc International Nursing Practice in partnership with Hainan Medical School, China.
Responsibilities of this post will include leading and/or teaching and assessing specifically related to nursing practice (mainly on the BSc International Nursing Practice, UG nursing programmes and CPD as relevant), an academic personal tutor role, research support for students, and being part of the nursing teams in curriculum development and quality monitoring.
This post will specifically focus on contributing to our BSc International Nursing Practice programme. This could be through a combination of :-
There may also be PG CPD teaching in nursing or other relevant health and social care programmes aligned with your areas of expertise.
You’re a registered nurse with the NMC, who can demonstrate a range of experience. A strong understanding of promoting holistic patient centred care, and effective communication is essential, alongside a comprehensive understanding of assessment and management strategies, interprofessional and inter agency working and contemporary healthcare.
You have a sound range of nursing experience as well as experience of working within an interdisciplinary team. The applicant will have excellent communication and interpersonal skills and a commitment to close team working.

This role is campus based with the opportunity to work from home occasionally with agreement with your people manager.
