RCL seeks a passionate and enthusiastic Student Communications and Engagement Officer to enhance how we connect with and support our students. This vital role empowers you to shape the student experience by ensuring they receive timely, relevant, and accessible information, fostering a strong sense of community.

You'll develop and implement engaging communication strategies across our student intranet, app, website, email, and print, crafting content that resonates with our diverse student body. Collaborating closely with students, you'll gain insights into their needs and use them to develop impactful engagement activities.

What you'll do:

• Manage and develop all student communication channels (intranet, app, web, email, print) and create engaging accessible content.
• Partner with students to understand their needs, shape engagement activities, and facilitate student-led initiatives.
• Promote and develop our student enrichment programme and deliver effective related communication strategies.
• Manage the student communications calendar, collaborate with internal teams and student representatives, and support communication for key student events.
• Analyse and report on student engagement data, and champion equality, diversity, and accessibility in all activities.
