An exciting opportunity has arisen to join the Finance & Procurement Department as a Business Process Analyst. You will build new, and enhance existing, finance systems and processes at the University, working alongside colleagues in our Digital Data and Technology Group (DDAT) as well as senior leaders.

Experience of working with large business information systems is essential, and knowledge of Unit4 ERP (Agresso Business World) and SITS (Tribal) would be advantageous.

In this role you will be involved in:

  • Working with business experts and other key stakeholders to analyse the needs of the University
  • Creating and reviewing all project documents
  • Designing system & process solutions
  • Implementing approved process improvements and system developments
  • User Acceptance Testing
  • Developing documentation and delivering training to end users
  • Providing significant second tier support for the current systems and processes

You will need:

  • Proven project management skills 
  • Experience of working at all stages of a project life cycle; from gathering requirements, business process analysis, system design, configuration and testing through to implementation, end user training transition to operational service.
  • A good working knowledge of accounting principles and processes 
  • Practical experience of change management.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills will be essential. 
  • Systems design configuration experience

This is a part-time role working 29.2 hours per week (0.8 fte) for a fixed-term period until 31 July 2025.
