Innovative Educational Partnerships Limited (IEPL) is a wholly-owned subsidiary of DMU and is engaged by DMU to provide teaching and support staff for the operation of DMU’s new London campus (DMU London). DMU London is part of DMU’s ambitious growth agenda and will be a campus for teaching excellence, home to many disciplines and subjects, which have a focus on sustainability and employability, and providing students with an excellent choice of postgraduate programmes.
Employed by IEPL, the Campus Operations Manager is a key appointment, forming part of the senior management team of DMU London and responsible for the non-academic operations at the campus. This is an exciting leadership position in the development of DMU London and a crucial role in ensuring our success in one of the world’s most dynamic, and competitive higher education landscapes.
The Campus Operations Manager will play a key role supporting the Head of DMU London and providing leadership and management of the non-academic operations at DMU London, developing and delivering the DMU London strategic plan and operational plans.
You will lead the operational management of DMU London, the delivery of student support and the provision of academic administration in support of the teaching taking place at DMU London. You will ensure coherence and continuity in the delivery of effective high-quality support services across campus operations and academic administration for DMU London students and IEPL staff.
This role will lead the relationship with Academic teams at DMU London, and Professional Service Directorates at DMU Leicester, and hence, IEPL are looking for someone with the ability to build strong and durable working relationships with colleagues across DMU London and senior staff at DMU Leicester.
To be successful, you will have experience of leadership and management in an operational role at a UK HE institution or similar. Working knowledge of a university and the multiple services needed to support students and staff will be helpful. You will need to have a demonstrable ability of being adaptable and a quicker learner and able to develop the services to changing demands of a growing operation.
