About the Role
We seek an experienced Operations & Implementations Manager to support the delivery of biomedical research infrastructure projects and programs. This senior role focuses on implementing strategic and operational initiatives at local, national, and international levels. The successful candidate will drive effective execution, enable high-impact research, and ensure seamless coordination across clinical and academic settings.

You are a results-driven professional with extensive experience in biomedical infrastructure, operations, and multi-stakeholder collaboration, including NIHR and government-funded initiatives. Skilled in operations, finance, and team leadership, with a strong track record of problem-solving and driving efficiencies. Adept at navigating fast-paced environments, balancing priorities, and ensuring compliance, impact, and operational excellence.
About the School/Department/Institute/Project
QMUL is the lead academic partner of Barts Health NHS Trust; the Partnership works together to deliver major strategic projects/programmes across a range of funders, examples include: the NIHR Research Barts Biomedical Research Centre (incorporating City & St George’s University of London and St George’s University Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust), Barts Charity, and UK FCDO.

The post is based at the Charterhouse Square Campus in London. It is a full-time (35 hours per week), indefinite appointment (subject to continued research funding). Expected start date of 1st March 2025. Starting salary will be Grade 6, in the range of £53,449 - £59,495 per annum, inclusive of London Allowance.
