The University of Salford has an exciting new part-time opportunity available for a Lecturer in Learning Disabilities Nursing!

Our Nursing and Midwifery Directorate in our School of Health & Society is known for a track record of collaborating with a wide range of industry partners across health and social care to produce highly skilled graduates with real work experience.  

The ideal candidate with be registered with the NMC as a Learning Disabilities Nurse with a passion for delivering valuable Learning Disabilities Nursing Education and developing high-quality teaching materials.

Key Responsibilities

  • Design teaching material and deliver either across a range of modules or within a subject area
  • Supervise student projects, including, where appropriate, Post Graduate Taught, field trips and placements
  • Identify areas where current provision is in need of revision or enhancement
  • Contribute to the planning, design and development of course and curriculum objectives and material, and ability to work, and maintain different information systems and databases.
