Background
We are seeking to appoint an Assistant Professor in Pharmacy Practice within our growing and highly regarded School of Pharmacy.
We are looking for an enthusiastic and motivated individual who can contribute to the well-established educational excellence of the Department, at both undergraduate and postgraduate level. A particular focus would be on supporting our established MPharm, in the delivery of integrated pharmacy practice within our new curriculum.
The Department of Pharmacy is situated within the College of Medicine and Health facilitating close interdisciplinary working involving collaboration with science-based and clinical colleagues in Medicine, Dentistry, Biomedical Science, Nursing and Midwifery, and Physiotherapy. You will be working with highly experienced academics who can support your career development.
The postholder will have a focus in Pharmacy practice with a desire to further their teaching experience. This could involve a wide range of subjects relevant to the practice of pharmacy and clinical areas in pharmacy.
The post may also involve participation in the design, development, delivery, and leadership of a range of programmes of study with a focus on the principles of Clinical Pharmacy relevant to undergraduate pharmacy, postgraduate education, or CPD delivery.
