Description of Post

Working closely with staff in the Department of Pharmacy and wider Faculty of Science, the successful candidates’ role will be to:

deliver teaching, learning and assessment within the discipline of pharmaceutical chemistry, including practicals and the supervision of projects. Contribute to ePortfolios, OSCEs and the Professional Registration Exam within the MPharm programme;
contribute to the development and delivery of teaching, learning and assessment of other programmes within the Department of Pharmacy and wider Faculty, including supervising postgraduate research and the development of new learning provisions;
collaborate effectively with staff of the Department of Pharmacy and wider Faculty of Science and Health in championing the development of new programmes;
engage in relevant research, which will expand the research expertise and activity in the wider Faculty of Science and Health.

Essential Qualifications

An MPharm Degree at Level as specified in the National Framework of Qualifications (NFQ), or equivalent pharmacy qualification.
Three years relevant post-qualification experience.
