The Department
The Strategic Planning team is a relatively small agile team based in the directorate and is primarily responsible for delivering data insight to drive improvements in business processes and outcomes across the University. The team spends the majority of their time analysing data from across the student lifecycle but they also support the development of University strategies and have been known to deliver innovative projects at scale.
The Role
Your ability to turn data into information and information into insight will shape the organisation decisions. Working closely with a team of motivated professionals you will build the data narratives that will enable senior managers and colleagues to engage with the issues that matter. You will be encouraged to discover innovative ways to deal with the big questions and will be supported to develop new skills to deliver solutions to problems.
The Person
You will be a highly analytical individual, with experience working with data and a nous for translating data into actionable insights. You will possess strong communication skills and the ability to work effectively in a team setting. A natural problem solver, with your work you will act as an influencer across all levels of the organisation.
