About the role

As an Associate Lecturer in Health and Social Care Management, you will be responsible for delivering engaging course content to students, ensuring a blend of theoretical knowledge and practical industry insights. Your role involves assessing and providing constructive feedback on student work. Foster a supportive and inclusive classroom environment, ensuring effective management of student interactions and actively enhancing their engagement and overall learning experience. You will also contribute to curriculum development by supporting module leaders to reflect the latest trends in health and social care.

Comprehensive Subject Knowledge: Possessing an in-depth understanding of health and social care principles, practices, and current industry trends.

Strong Interpersonal and Mentorship Abilities: Building rapport with students, offering academic guidance, and creating an inclusive and supportive learning environment.

Effective Communication and Presentation Skills: Ability to articulate complex concepts clearly and engagingly to a diverse range of students, both in written and oral forms.

Adaptability and Collaborative Spirit: Flexibility in adapting to changing educational needs and working effectively with colleagues for curriculum enhancement and research projects.

Assessment and Feedback Proficiency: Skilled in evaluating student work accurately and providing constructive feedback to support their academic growth.
