The Academic Services department provides essential and valuable support to both academic and student services and Academic departments, helping the University to function in the most efficient and productive way, ensuring that the students’ experience is second to none.
Reporting to the Deputy Head of Academic Services (Quality), this role is responsible for quality assurance and compliance matters for the Faculty of Business, Humanities and Social Sciences.
The post holder will play a key role in designing, developing, and delivering a range of supporting materials, geared to support and advise all Faculty staff members in relation to compliance matters. They will be the main liaison with all External examiners for the faculty to ensure their review and reports are understood and implemented in each Exam cycle, alongside programme and module design.
The role will work with the Deputy Head of Academic Services (Quality), to effectively plan, support the design and development of key compliance frameworks, strategies, policies, and procedures that align to the overall University Strategic plan. The role will support the communication and engagement plans of new compliance matters, with key stakeholders within the faculty.
The role will effectively project manage new process, procedures, and initiatives; as well as accreditation and audit activities to ensure ongoing successful accreditation of Courses.
