Richmond American University London is looking to appoint a Web Design and Content Officer, you will be managing and enhancing the University’s website to ensure it serves as an engaging, user-friendly platform that meets the needs of our diverse audiences. Combining technical proficiency with strong content creation skills, you’ll collaborate with stakeholders to produce high-quality, optimised content that aligns with the University’s goals and brand standards.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Manage and maintain the University's WordPress-based website, ensuring seamless functionality, accessibility, and alignment with user experience best practices.
  • Plan, create, and publish engaging, audience-focused content, incorporating SEO strategies to improve visibility and organic traffic.
  • Collaborate with internal teams to gather and organise accurate, relevant content, ensuring it aligns with the University’s tone of voice and style guidelines.
  • Enhance user engagement by incorporating multimedia elements, such as images, videos, and infographics, while ensuring optimised performance and compliance with accessibility standards.
  • Regularly review and update website design and content layout to improve usability and intuitive navigation.
  • Monitor website performance using tools like Google Analytics, providing insights and recommendations to enhance user experience and meet strategic objectives.
