At Birmingham Newman University, we’re looking for a creative, passionate and collaborative Student Recruitment & Marketing Manager to develop and execute innovative marketing strategies that promote our diverse course offerings in the Faculty of Education and the School of Nursing and Allied Health. 

As part of our dynamic marketing and recruitment team, you will inspire prospective students and their families, helping them discover how Birmingham Newman University can shape their future. You will build relationships through thoughtful marketing content, from engaging website and social media materials to impactful events, all while managing and mentoring a talented outreach team. You will be empowered to drive meaningful engagement at every stage of the student journey. 

Essential Criteria

We’re looking for a skilled marketing professional who meets the following criteria:

  • Marketing Expertise: A proven track record in planning and delivering marketing campaigns, with experience across digital, print, and social media platforms.
  • Leadership & Collaboration: Strong team leadership skills, with the ability to manage staff and work collaboratively with internal and external stakeholders.
  • Strategic Insight: Proficient in market research, data analysis, and identifying trends to inform marketing strategies and improve student recruitment outcomes.
  • Content Development: Experience producing high-quality content for websites, social media, and publications, tailored to diverse audiences.
  • Event Management: Skilled in organising and attending events that promote courses and elevate institutional visibility.
  • Qualifications: A degree or equivalent experience in marketing, communications, or a related field.
  • Experience in the Higher Education sector would be beneficial.
