The Research Department of Clinical, Educational and Health Psychology (CEHP) undertakes world-leading research and teaching in mind, behaviour, and language. It brings together researchers in a range of disciplines such as psychoanalysis, neuroscience, health, education, communication, medicine, behaviour and development.
About the role
The post holder will be required to coordinate, maintain and develop core administrative elements of the online MSc in Psychology and Trauma Adult Route. The post is based in CEHP and the postholder will provide general administrative support to the Programme Co-Directors. The role is hybrid, and the expectation is for 60% to be on-site and 40% to work from home, which will be reviewed once the course is established.
About you
The successful applicant will have extensive experience of working in an administrative role in Higher Education, with good interpersonal skills, with a tactful and diplomatic approach to communication (both verbal and written). They will have excellent organisational and administrative skills, including the ability to prioritise work, think clearly and work calmly under pressure. The nature of the role requires the individual to have excellent IT skills, use of moodle, and proven experience of supporting the delivery of remote teaching and assessment using a range of platforms. They will have excellent customer service skills and a proactive and timely approach to providing support to staff and students.
