The Civic HealthTech Innovation Zone (CHI-Zone) is being established to accelerate the growth of the health and life science sector, upskill residents and create jobs for the Liverpool City Region. As Market Research and Insights Analyst you will establish a business intelligence function for the CHI-Zone, analysing market trends and presenting actionable insights to help us develop leading-edge health and care technologies, including Artificial Intelligence, with broad-ranging partners.
You will be a member of the Civic Health Innovation Labs (CHIL) team, reporting to the CHI-Zone Business Developer. You will also work closely with academic and technical staff from CHIL, the Virtual Engineering Centre (VEC) and University’s Enterprise Team.
In this role, you will conduct primary and desk-based market research to identify emerging trends, and analyse industry data, economic indicators and competitor activities to produce briefings and reports, advise IP developers, and support industry partnerships and impactful research collaborations. You will evidence demand, supply and key trends in relation to data-driven and tech-enabled health and social care, support the team by creating visualisations to communicate these findings to diverse audiences, and help programme participants realise defined commercial ambitions.
The post is available from 1st April 2025 until 31st March 2029.
Interviews for this role will take place during the month of January 2025.
Although the university has a hybrid working system, we expect that the applicant appointed to this role will work more than 60% on campus.
