Property Services require an experienced tradesperson to join its small but busy directly employed Maintenance Services Team delivering a high-quality service to support the primary objectives of the University.
As Mechanical and Plumbing Services Operative, you will be responsible for the provision of a quality property maintenance and minor works service to the diverse range of the University’s estate. The post requires participation in an out of hour’s on - call rota paid at £140.00 per week, plus call out fees.
You will hold a minimum City & Guilds / NVQ Level 3 in Mechanical Building Services and/or Plumbing, with substantial post qualification experience. Additionally, you must hold CCN1 (Domestic) certification in the National Accredited Gas Safety Scheme (ACS), and you will be required to attain the following certificates within your first 6 months in post; CEN1, WAT1 (Domestic); and COCN1, ICPN1, TPCP1A, CIGA1, CORT1, ICAE1 (Commercial). Funding and support will be provided by the University.
