The successful applicant must hold, or be close to completion of, a PhD/DPhil, in human population genetics and Mendelian randomisation. They must have peer reviewed publications using Mendelian randomisation, analysis of UK Biobank, cardiometabolic disease, and have expertise in genetic co-localisation approaches. They will possess sufficient specialist knowledge in the discipline to work within established research programmes.
