Are you looking for your next step in your laboratory technician career? We currently have a great opportunity for a motivated Laboratory Technician at our Clinical Biomanufacturing Facility within the Nuffield Department of Medicine.
As a Laboratory Technician at the Clinical Biomanufacturing Facility, you will be responsible for allocated stages in our production processes. You will undertake specific duties in our regulated cleanrooms, to support our team of production scientists. This will require you to follow established procedures and to document all actions in a clear and organised fashion, spotting discrepancies and proposing refinements where necessary. You must be able to work under strictly defined regulatory conditions, adhering to Good Manufacturing Practices. Once trained, you will be required to independently prioritise your own tasks and work with minimal supervision.
To be successful in this role, you will need to have A levels (or equivalent) in scientific subjects, alongside experience of working in a laboratory environment. Excellent communication skills and the ability to work with a high level of accuracy and attention to detail is critical. You will be able to work using your own initiative, as well as within a team, as well as having good IT skills.
