About the Role

The post is based in the Trauma Sciences research team within the Centre for Neuroscience, Surgery and Trauma. The Trauma Sciences research team (www.c4ts.qmul.ac.uk) provides the framework for trauma sciences research that we believe will lead to a step-change in outcomes for trauma patients. Trauma clinical studies are a specialised field due to the demands on the research environment and the ethical issues involved. We are also a member of the International Trauma Research Network. This collaboration of European and American specialist trauma Centre’s aims to advance research in the field of fundamental, translational and clinical research into the body’s acute and longer-term response to severe injury and blood transfusion therapy.

About You

To support the undertaking of AI-TRIPS study across London (based at the Royal London Hospital and QMUL):

• Work as part of an experienced clinical research team based at The Royal London Hospital and the Blizard Institute.
• Manage the AI-TRIPS clinical trials study in conjunction with the Centre for Trauma Sciences Operations Manager, Principal Investigator, Chief investigators and management groups. This will include contribution to both strategic and day-to-day leadership

This collaboration of European and American specialist trauma centres aims to advance research in the field of fundamental, translational and clinical research into the body’s acute and longer-term response to severe injury and blood transfusion therapy.

The post is based at the Whitechapel Campus in London. It is a part time (17.5 hours per week), fixed term appointment for 12 months . Salary range from £43,305 to £50,685 (pro rata) incl LA.
