Job description:
We are pleased to announce an exciting new opportunity for a Senior Technician: Blast group. This position is focused on supporting research into the characterisation of explosives, developing novel experimental techniques, and working in teams performing blast testing.
You will play a key role within a team of technicians and researchers supporting our Blast and Impact research group. You will use your skills and experience to take responsibility for planning, designing, developing, conducting and performing experiments to support research activities. You will be experienced in the safe use and detonation of explosives and skilled in developing and working with instrumentation in blast experiments. You will enjoy solving challenges and working on applied research projects.
