The opportunity
We are looking for a skilled and experienced project manager to coordinate the delivery of a major strategic programme at University of the Arts London (UAL).
The UAL Size and Shape programme is a significant programme of work that is intended to reshape UAL’s teaching portfolio for the long term. It comprises a range of strategic, operational and analytical projects within an overall framework.
As a Strategic Project Manager, you will oversee the delivery of this major programme over the next 12 months, ensuring that all projects and activities are kept on track and delivered in an integrated way. This will involve:
This is an important long-term project for UAL which offers an exciting opportunity to work on an area of strategic significance close to the centre of the University.
About you
You will need project management experience or training, with the ability to manage a complex range of projects and initiatives concurrently within an overall programme.
In addition to this, you will possess experience of budget management, as well as the ability to manage and distil the flow of project and programme information to ensure activities remain on track and that key stakeholders are kept informed.
You will also demonstrate excellent communication and organisational skills, along with a high attention to detail and the ability to engage with and influence a range of colleagues.
