Part-Time Employer Relationships Adviser

Are you a networker who is passionate about engaging with businesses of all sizes to benefit our students' and their opportunities and outcomes? This is an exciting part-time 0.8 FTE role in our employer relations team as part of our Careers and Employability service here at Bath Spa University.

About the role

You will be at the forefront of generating new employer leads and turning these interactions into sustainable and mutually beneficial relationships with local, regional and national employers to ensure that BSU students and graduates are sought after by them.  

You will also build strong connections with BSU colleagues, to source a range of professional opportunities for our students including part-time work, internships, placements, professional freelance opportunities and graduate jobs, and engage employers to support a range of curricular and extra-curricular activities, aligned to the needs of students and academic schools. 

You will also be responsible for our on campus employer and recruitment events such as employer in the foyer, jobs/careers fairs and course/sector panel events.

About you

We are looking for someone who is an excellent networker, who can engage with employers, colleagues and students. The ability to analyse data that leads to insights and prioritisation of needs will be an essential skill for this role. You will need to be a highly organised person who can manage multiple initiatives, contacts and events all progressing at different speeds whilst ensuring key milestones are always in mind and are met.
