Solution-processable thermally activated delayed fluorescence (SP-TADF) materials are new and increasingly important materials for next generation solution-processed organic light-emitting diodes (SP-OLEDs) and their applications in displays. The Organic Semiconductor Centre is internationally recognised for its research on organic optoelectronics and provides excellent facilities for its study. The aim of this post is to develop new SP-TADF materials. The candidate will be responsible for modeling, synthesizing and characterizing the emitters, including solution-state photophysics. They will work within a wider team devoted to the development of high-performance SP-TADF materials and devices.
