The School of Modern Languages and the School of Philosophical, Anthropological and Film Studies seek suitably qualified applicants for the position of Network Coordinator & Research Assistant for the German Screen Studies Network (GSSN). The successful applicant will, first, provide administrative support for the GSSN’s academic leads and, in particular, help plan, promote and deliver Network events and communications; second, use their expertise to design and lead a workshop for secondary school educators; and third assist with establishing and managing a new peer-reviewed journal devoted to German Screen Studies, to which they will contribute their own research. This position is offered as a 0.3 FTE post (around 11 hours each week) for a fixed-term of 3 years. The position could be extended beyond twelve months subject to funding and performance.
