Education Policy Support The Education Policy Support (EPS) team develops academic policy, oversees quality of courses, and manages external regulation of our teaching, access and participation. The team also provides a secretariat service for major university committees and manages student casework. The EPS team provides a vital service to colleagues and students across Oxford by managing individual student cases and offering expert advice to staff.
The role of Casework Officer and Administrator supports the casework team, supports the committee servicing of the team, and handles their own caseload of student cases.

About the Role
The role of Casework Officer and Administrator offers an excellent opportunity to be involved at the heart of the University’s Education Policy Support team. The successful applicant will work closely with the Head of Student Casework and Head of Education Policy Support as well as with the wider Education Policy Support and AAD Administration teams, and colleagues across other student services and the wider University and Colleges. You will join a friendly and supportive team.
The successful applicant will be responsible for supporting the casework of the team as well as handling their own caseload for the Joint Panel on Remission of Fees. They will be responsible for servicing the Joint Panel on Remission of Fees and other panels/committees as required. They will also manage the office space and facilities, support the team with their committee servicing and providing general administrative support to officers in the team.
About You
You must be well organised and methodical, with excellent attention to detail and the ability to remain calm under pressure. The role will involve daily contact with senior staff and colleagues across the University, often in circumstances of strict confidentiality. Excellent communication skills, tact and discretion are vital in this role as is a positive attitude to work.
