Day to day, this will involve providing first and second line support for users with various levels of technical abilities on Windows 10, 11 and macOS; keeping software and hardware up to date; monitoring system compliance; and managing user accounts, using tools including our helpdesk system, Active Directory, Intune, Microsoft Configuration Manager and Microsoft 365.
Excellent IT, problem solving, and communications skills are expected, as is the drive and commitment to continuously learn and develop. In return, you will have the opportunity to be exposed to a broad range of IT related topics, the scope to become involved in wider aspects of the work of the department, and to broaden your experience and skillsets. Added benefits include free and discounted tickets for RNCM performances, additional time off at Christmas, and the option to join initiatives such as the Cycle to Work Scheme.
Please note that this role is not suitable for remote / hybrid working and requires the successful candidate to be based at the RNCM offices Monday-Friday.
