We are looking for a full-time Clinical Lecturer in Oral Surgery to join the Dental team in the School of Dentistry, College of Biomedical & Life Sciences. The post will be based at the Heath Park Campus in Cardiff.
If you can demonstrate outstanding potential to undertake an academic clinical career in oral surgery, this post offers an exciting opportunity for integrated academic and clinical skills development. We are looking for someone who is aiming to develop their academic career in education (in a variety of contexts) to develop the dentists of the future. You will be supported to maintain and develop your surgical competencies and experience in Oral Surgery and develop a portfolio as a clinical teacher to prepare for a recognised teaching accreditation.
The successful applicant should hold full General Dental Council (GDC) registration.
The successful candidate will be awarded an appropriate honorary contract by Cardiff and Vale University Health Board and will have the opportunity to treat their own patients as part of the role.
