About the role
We have an exciting opportunity to join the Oxford Vaccine Group in the Department of Paediatrics as our Senior Programme Manager
The SPM will be based at the Centre for Clinical Vaccinology and Tropical Medicine and will provide oversight of the management of clinical trials or clinical programs. The post holder will join a team of Programme managers working across OVG responsible for a large portfolio of research projects ranging from preclinical to late phase and post-licensure vaccine trials.

Based at the Churchill Hospital we conduct studies aimed at reducing the worldwide toll of deaths and disabilities from major infectious diseases. With an embedded laboratory team and multiple collaborators across the world we are involved in the development and improvement of vaccines from early-stage preclinical work to late-stage post licensure studies.
The post is full-time for 2 years in the first instance. The role does require on site working at least 4 days per week, remote working can be facilitated one day a week.
