You will plan delivery so schemes of work, lesson plans and individual learning plans support learner programmes and undertake ongoing high-quality formative and summative assessment of learners’ work, both in class and through regular out of class activity to monitor progress.
About You
We’re looking for someone who holds a degree or equivalent in English (or a related subject area) and who has previous teaching experience on English (or related) courses (or teaching practice for ECT’s). Your experience will include producing effective schemes of work and lesson plans, and mean you are able to integrate high-quality formative assessments into classroom delivery.
A teaching qualification or professional recognition in learning and skills is not essential, however we do ask that you are working towards this.
