Job description
The Courtauld Institute of Art is the UK’s leading institution for teaching and research into the History of Art and the conservation of paintings, and is also home to one of the finest small art museums in the world. The Courtauld is currently undergoing a capital transformation project that will make The Courtauld’s world-class artworks, research and teaching accessible to more people – in the UK and internationally.
This role is based in the Admissions and Enrolment Team, which is in the Student and Academic Services (SAS) department, reporting into the Admissions and Enrolment Manager and supports the administration of recruitment, admission and enrolment of all students to The Courtauld Institute of Art. The role works closely with a range of internal staff including academics and staff from Public Programmes, Advancement, Marketing and Finance. The role holder will liaise with prospective
students, providing information and advice on admission to The Courtauld. The role holder will support all stages of the admissions process from initial enquiry, through recruitment to full enrolment on the academic programmes.
You will have:
• Experience of working in HE, with a strong focus on customer service.
• Experience of administering HE admissions applications and student enrolment processes.
• Experience of supporting visa applications and the Tier IV points-based immigration system.
• Excellent interpersonal skills in order to communicate effectively with staff, students and external bodies.
• The ability to build effective and productive workplace relationships and to work proactively across teams.
• Excellent attention to detail and able to work effectively and accurately under pressure to tight deadlines.
