About the role

You will work flexibly as part of the HR Services team and be responsible for the delivery of a high-quality and proactive Human Resources service across the University in line with operational deadlines and priorities. You will effectively coordinate and manage the full recruitment and selection process, as well as all employment lifecycle transactions, including the completion of all administration relating to these workflows and monitoring monthly reporting.

Core to our vision is an excellent staff and student experience. We are looking for a motivated individual who will work in collaboration with the Organisational Development team, wider HR teams and other stakeholders to support the delivery of Human Resources services to all faculties and professional services within the University.

You will have relevant experience of Human Resources and will also have significant experience of undertaking complex transactional administrative work in a busy office, including substantial experience of high-volume data entry in a HR/Payroll system. You will possess excellent time management, communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to work under pressure and with attention to detail. Above all else you will have the passion and enthusiasm for creating a great staff experience and positively supporting a culture of high performance, staff engagement, experience, and wellbeing.

This position does not meet the eligibility requirements for sponsorship under the Skilled Worker Route within the UK Visa and Immigration service's Points Based System. Therefore, Bournemouth University is not be able to sponsor individuals who require permission to work to carry out this position.
