HR Adviser

Swansea campus (hybrid working with travel to other locations as necessary)

Grade 6 / £33,966 to £38,205 per annum

We are now looking for an HR Adviser to join our Swansea campus on a full time permanent basis, working 37 hours per week.

- THE ROLE –

You will be responsible for HR compliance processes including UKVI sponsorship requirements, leading on projects and HR policy development. You will also provide advice and guidance to line managers on HR policies and procedures and employee relations issues.

- ABOUT YOU -

To be considered for this role, you will need:

• Education to degree level or significant HR experience
• CIPD level 5 qualification or working towards
• Previous experience working as a HR Adviser or equivalent role within a HR team
• Extensive experience of providing HR advice to line managers on a range of employee relations issues
• Experience of leading on HR compliance matters including providing advice and preparing guidance and briefings for line managers and audit preparation
• Experience of advising on the terms of contractual documentation and a sound knowledge of employment legislation
• Significant experience of HR policy development, associated guidance and briefings for managers
• Experience of leading on large scale HR projects
• Excellent communication skills including experience of writing policies, guidance and professional HR advice
• Excellent Digital skills specifically in the use of Microsoft Office applications including Excel, Word, Outlook, and Microsoft Teams
