An exciting opportunity has arisen to join our team as a System Guidance and Documentation Officer.
The post holder’s primary duties will be to support the development of suitable multi-media guidance material to support the implementation of a new research system (Worktribe) which will support key business activities in the areas of pre-awards (costing and pricing and approvals), research contracts, research ethics, and post-awards (budget overviews for academic users). The post holder will also produce documentation to capture team processes that may span day-to-day operations of the Research Systems Team and a number of existing research systems and work on updates to existing system guidance as required; liaising with other internal teams and project staff from time to time.
You will work as part of a hybrid working team, spending at least two days on campus with the option to work from another location alongside this, which is according to business need and may vary at different times of the year. We are looking for a proactive, highly organised individual, with excellent attention to detail and video editing skills. You will have experience working with video editing software, mapping processes and user journeys, providing advice and guidance to system users and be familiar with Microsoft Office 365 and basic reporting and filter functionality in any system or database and have experience of keeping accurate records and maintaining a knowledge base for a team, department or other organisational unit.
