The School of Natural and Environmental Sciences is seeking an Associate Lecturer in Food Marketing to support the school during 2024/2025 academic year.

We invite applications for both part time (minimum of 3 days per week) and full-time working patterns and the duration may differ depending on this.  We would also consider this role on a job share basis.

You will participate as a member of the teaching team to support the planning, delivery and assessment of marketing and food marketing related modules associated with BSc Food Business Management and Marketing and which are taught to the wider University.

Two examples of modules that you would lead or contribute to are:

  • NES1103 – Introduction to Nutrition and Food Science
  • NES3113 – Food innovation Consultancy

This is not an exhaustive list. A final decision on contribution to teaching and scholarship activities will be discussed upon appointment.

We are looking for candidates with a postgraduate qualification (MSc or PhD) in a marketing or food marketing related area with evidence of teaching at undergraduate or master’s level.  We are particularly excited to hear from people who can display the personal qualities to support student learning with a passion for making improvements to modules in collaboration with colleagues.
