About the role

Are you a highly organised professional with proven experience in providing administrative support in a fast-paced, customer or supporter focused environment? Do you have excellent communication skills and the ability to build and maintain relationships with a wide range of stakeholders at all levels? Are you interested in gaining experience across the full spectrum of donor relations, development events, campaign projects and fundraising communications? If so, becoming Imperial’s new Supporter Engagement Coordinator in the Advancement Division could be the perfect next challenge for you.

What you would be doing

Reporting to the Head of Supporter Engagement, the Supporter Engagement Coordinator works across the team, and in collaboration with fundraisers, to lead on several activities which support campaign goals and the donor experience. This includes managing a portfolio of donor relations activities and delivering bespoke events for supporters.

You will also work across all areas of the Supporter Engagement team to provide outstanding support of activities which maximise high-quality interactions with prospects, donors, senior volunteers, and other key stakeholders. You will provide administrative assistance to support the team’s day-to-day delivery and our work on key campaign projects and will use your initiative and creativity to spot opportunities to improve our team processes and our Divisional offering.

A confident multi-tasker, you will have meticulous attention to detail and the proven ability to prioritise and manage a varied workload and produce high quality work with competing deadlines. You will enjoy working both independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced team and providing outstanding support across a range of varied tasks. You will be confident exercising your own initiative and taking a solution focused and proactive approach.

You will work with a supportive and experienced team on the full spectrum of donor relations, development events, fundraising communications and campaign projects and the role will suit someone who is looking to build a career in this area of Advancement. As well as supporting on a range of projects, you will have the space to lead on specific projects and shape areas of work, working closely with the Head of Supporter Engagement.

Further information

This is a full-time, open-ended role. It is currently based at the South Kensington campus but could be expected to move to the White City campus in mid-2025. Hybrid working will be considered for this role; see Imperial’s Work Location Framework for further information
