The Oxford Institute of Ageing is looking for a part-time Finance Officer to ensure the smooth running of the finance office and the timely and accurate processing of all financial transactions for the Institute.
The postholder will work closely with the Research Administration Team to support the financial management of the Department; provide quarterly project ledger reports for the purposes of quarterly forecasting and management committee reporting; set-up supplier records in the Oracle Financials system.
The successful candidate should have proven experience of research grants administration, or equivalent administrative experience; proven technical finance skills and be capable of expert financial analysis and strategic planning.
The post is part-time at 10%-20% hours to be decided with successful applicant. The post will be for a fixed-term of 18 months. The post will be subject to the University’s standard probationary period of six months.
The Institute hopes to fill the vacancy as soon as possible. The post is based in the Oxford Institute of Population Ageing, 66 Banbury Road, Oxford with flexibility to work hybrid.
