The Personal Assistant to Associate Pro Vice Chancellor Education & Student Experience is a unique opportunity to directly support the Associate Pro Vice-Chancellor Education & Student Experience, assisting them to undertake key leadership functions which speak directly to the University’s priority of Enabling Student Success. You will work with the Associate Pro Vice-Chancellor to support their close working with our Schools Leadership Teams and key professional services Directors and leads, as well as our Students’ Union, to ensure we have effective joined up partnership working across our academic and professional services. This will support our pursuit of an exceptional student experience which effectively enables immediate and longer-term success for our students.
Ideally you will have PA/Administration experience.
The Associate Pro Vice-Chancellor Education & Student Experience (APVC ESE) is responsible for providing institutional leadership, working in close collaboration/partnership with our academic Schools, professional services and in partnership with colleagues within the Learning & Teaching Enhancement Centre (LTEC), to ensure that the University is continually working to optimise the student experience. Along with providing leadership and clear direction in the way that the University responds effectively to student issues, ensuring that the University provides an exceptional, coherent, learning environment which helps students reach their potential and which effectively prepares them for life.
Additionally, the APVC ESE contributes extensively to cross institutional initiatives in the areas of policy development relating to academic success and the Student Voice, and will provide proactive leadership and direction for the enhancement of the student academic experience.
