The role
This is an exciting opportunity for a talented researcher to co-ordinate the Test-Smart implementation study. During the first three years we have developed evidence based testing panels and accompanying patient and clinician materials; these will be implemented in the Test-Smart study in ten general practice sites, and rates of testing and patient reported outcomes will be compared to ten control GP practices. You will work with a multidisciplinary team including clinicians, statisticians, epidemiologists, health economists, qualitative researchers and patient and public representatives.
What will you be doing?
You will work closely with the Programme Manager to co-ordinate the Test-Smart study, including preparing documents for ethics approval, recruiting NHS GP practices, monitoring data collection, and contributing to academic outputs for the study. You will co-ordinate patient and public involvement and engagement activities. You will have opportunities for training and development and will be encouraged and supported to attend relevant courses.
