Having celebrated a new pathway to the professional game in the last 5 years with Bristol Bears, our Women's programme truly celebrates a Dual career in academic and sporting excellence in Rugby. The University of Bristol is now investing more into our Women’s Rugby Club by hiring a new Performance Coach to join us on a part time basis, to drive the ambitions of reaching the BUCS National League and developing the pathway.
Reporting to the Head of Rugby, you will develop, deliver and manage a coaching, playing and preparation programme to optimise performance and deliver on strategic aspirations for the Women’s Rugby Club whilst assisting in the Men’s performance programme. In addition, you will lead on player and coach development by ensuring pathways are logical, considered and deliberate.
Our team has a strong believe in positive ‘can do’ culture and structure built on the core values of the University of Bristol Performance programme, which we do hope the role holder will share this and ultimately, we can raise the profile of Bristol University for academic and current sporting excellence together.
