Are you passionate about educating the next generation of natural scientists? We are seeking a number of Associate Lecturers for the School of Natural Sciences, at the Faculty of Science, Birkbeck, University of London.
We're looking for Associate Lecturers to teach the following modules:
Introduction to Molecular Cell Biology - this role will contribute to teaching on the first year of BSc Biomedicine programme, giving an introduction to molecular cell biology. This is for a 15 credit, Level 4 module, taught in the Autumn term, teaching two modules; one in the afternoon and one in the evening.(66 contact hours of teaching).
Cell Membranes and Bio-Energetics - this role will contribute to teaching on the first year of the BSc Biomedicine programme. This is for a 15 credit, Level 4 module, taught in the Spring term, teaching two modules; one in the afternoon and one in the evening.(60 contact hours of teaching)

Remuneration
Starting rate £66.70 per hour, inclusive of pro-rata London Allowance and holiday pay for contact hours worked.
Payment is based on an hourly rate depending on length of continuous. The hourly rate is based on the starting point of Grade 7 and is inclusive of a ‘Duties Related to Teaching Multiplier’ which covers preparation, teaching, administration, assessment marking and other examining duties in connection with the course.
