Imperial College Business School is seeking a highly motivated and experienced individual to join our team as the Director of Recruitment and Admissions (MSc and UG). This pivotal role is responsible for leading high performing team to enrol over 1900 high-calibre students annually into our MSc and Undergraduate programs. You will provide strategic and operational direction across the candidate lifecycle.
As the Director, you will work closely with various stakeholders across the Business School to define target cohort profiles and develop admissions processes that align with the School’s ranking and reputation goals. You will represent the School on College-wide projects, external events, industry conferences, and in advisory roles and media engagements. This position requires a deep understanding of global education and employment market trends to ensure that the School remains competitive in attracting top talent.
You will be responsible for developing and implementing strategies to improve the candidate experience from initial contact through to enrolment. This includes coordinating the Undergraduate Admissions cycle, managing admissions committees, and handling complex admissions enquiries. You will also lead efforts to increase the enrolment of students from under-represented groups, striving for gender parity and a globally diverse cohort.
Additionally, the role involves overseeing the MSc and UG scholarships budget, developing financial aid strategies, and identifying new funding opportunities to support the School’s vision and mission. You will lead and mentor a team of recruitment and admissions professionals, ensuring they deliver high-quality customer service.
