We at Birkbeck, University of London, are thrilled to announce an opening for a Lecturer in Criminology, to expand our field. Criminology at Birkbeck has a strong tradition of critical criminological scholarship and enjoys a growing international research profile.
The School of Social Sciences at Birkbeck is looking for an exceptional Lecturer to join the School this Autumn term, and teach part-time for 10 months.
As a Lecturer in Criminology, your responsibilities will include:
Delivering high-quality, theoretically informed teaching on undergraduate and postgraduate criminology programmes (levels 4-7) such as Sociology of Crime and Gender, Crime and Criminal Justice.

Remuneration
£38,129 rising to £52,699 per annum (actual). (£42,365 - £58,554, pro-rata, per annum. FTE), The salary, Grade LLEC, quoted is on the College's London Pay Scale which includes a consolidated Weighting/Allowance which applies only to staff whose normal contractual place of work is in the London area.
