Are you an ambitious researcher looking to make a significant impact in the field of innovation and research? Birkbeck Business School, part of the Faculty of Business & Law at Birkbeck, University of London, is seeking a Postdoctoral Research Fellow to join our transformative Innovation and Research Caucus (IRC) project.

We are seeking an ambitious and talented researcher to contribute to the IRC’s flagship projects. You will work with Professor Muthu De Silva and other colleagues on projects related to co-creation, collaboration and innovation. This position is part of the Innovation & Research Caucus’s wider programme focussed on understanding and improving the UK Research and Innovation ecosystem.

As a Postdoctoral Research Fellow, you will:

  • Conduct interviews, analyse qualitative data, and perform literature reviews
  • Present research findings at conferences & write practice and policy reports as well as journal articles
  • Participate in all aspects of the research and dissemination process
  • Collaborate with IRC researchers on co-creation, collaboration, and innovation projects
  • Develop research objectives and proposals, both independently & collaboratively
  • Communicate complex information effectively to diverse audiences.

To be successful as a Postdoctoral Research Fellow, you should:

  • Have expertise in qualitative research methods, including conducting interviews and data analysis
  • Have an interest in the literature on co-creation and open innovation
  • Be proficient in using qualitative analysis tools such as Nvivo
  • Show initiative and creativity in research activities
  • Hold a PhD in a relevant subject area
  • Be committed to working with diversity & promoting equal opportunities.

Remuneration

£42,365 rising to £48,424 per annum. The salary is on the College's London Pay Scale which includes a consolidated Weighting/Allowance which applies only to staff whose normal contractual place of work is in the London area.
