The College of Global Studies (the study abroad division of Arcadia University, USA) is seeking candidates for the following role.
The College of Global Studies at Arcadia University (based in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, USA) provides over 100 study abroad programs in 10 countries to students from over 300 institutions of higher learning in the United States. Currently, the University is ranked #1 in the USA for the number of students that study abroad through its short-term, summer, semester and full-year programs. With over 30 programs offered at UK universities, in addition to its London Centre, the College of Global Studies offers a diverse range of study abroad options, including first year programming, internships, and undergraduate research opportunities. Arcadia's London Centre is based in Bloomsbury where classes, academic programs, student life services and other forms of comprehensive support are offered to participating students.
Job Outline
The Senior Student Services Officer works closely with the Associate Director for Student Services, deputising as necessary, to ensure the delivery of a comprehensive Orientation, ensure a safe and inclusive experience for students living in Arcadia housing, providing supervision of the Resident Life Assistants (RLAs), and provide support to students and staff at the Arcadia London Center.
The nature of the role means that unsocial hours may need to be worked, some evenings and weekends during term time. Arcadia London operates a hybrid working policy to enable staff to work from home as work allows.

The post will require the candidate to fulfil occasional on-call duties as part of a staff rota as well as participating in occasional out of hours activities in the evenings and weekends.
