The holder of this role will undertake the teaching, assessment and supporting administrative duties across a range of established modules in the School of Politics and International Relations. The teaching will relate to one or more of the following areas: British politics, comparative politics, international relations and/or political theory.
Working as part of a team you will be expected to plan and manage your own teaching in a variety of settings. You will need to identify students learning needs and ensure that your planned content, delivery methods and learning materials offer a clear path to the achievement of learning outcomes.
You will provide supervisory and first line support for undergraduate and postgraduate dissertations and projects including collaborating with colleagues.
You will be expected to undertake any required training and to seek to continuously develop your understanding and knowledge in your field as well as developing your teaching skills.
