Technical Specialist (Powertrains)

A skilled technician is required for Loughborough University’s prestigious School of Aeronautical, Automotive, Chemical and Materials Engineering. The work will be predominantly in the departments of Aeronautical and Automotive Engineering in the Engines and Powertrains Facility.

The successful candidate will join a team of technicians providing support in a range of workshops, supporting teaching and research activities. You will use a range of equipment, and you will be required to use your skills and experience to run, modify and maintain equipment within the facilities. 

You will have experience in a mechanical workshop or engine test facility, will have suitable qualifications for this discipline. You will join an experienced and supportive team, working with high profile academics, students and research staff.
