About the role
The University of Bath is a prestigious institution dedicated to academic excellence and innovation. Under the leadership of our new Vice-Chancellor, the Executive Team is being strengthened and enhanced to deliver against our strategic objectives.
We are seeking to appoint highly organised, proactive and professional Personal Assistants to support our new Deputy Vice-Chancellor, our new Pro-Vice-Chancellor (Global) and our Pro-Vice-Chancellor (Student Experience) in the fulfilment of their international, national, regional and institutional duties.
Working as part of a team, the successful candidates will provide key administrative and secretarial responsibilities including complex diary management, supporting meetings, commissioning briefing materials, and dealing with travel arrangements and financial tasks as well as high-profile visits and events.
About you
With a successful track record as a Personal Assistant or in a similar administrative role, you will have exceptional organisational, confidential and time-management skills, strong written and verbal communication abilities, proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook), excellent IT skills and the ability to engage effectively with people at all levels. Most importantly, you will thrive in a busy and fast-paced environment and enjoy working with others to achieve success.
Further information
We are offering both full-time and part-time (0.5) opportunities. Hybrid working is available by negotiation, taking into account the support needs of our Senior Managers as well as the need to provide office cover as part of a team of Personal Assistants.
