The Department of Chemical Engineering is looking for an enthusiastic and collaborative part-time Lecturer (Education) in Chemical Engineering (0.6 full time equivalent) to help facilitate the education of our students. Our degree courses in chemical engineering and environmental engineering prepare our students to tackle the global challenges we face, such as climate change, and the delivery of sustainable water, energy, food and wellbeing. You will be passionate about educating the next generation of chemical engineers and able to teach across the breadth and depth of our chemical engineering programmes including chemical engineering design and process simulation.

This role is offered on a part-time, fixed term basis of 36 months.

Application Requirements & Selection Process Together with a full CV, please provide a two-page statement outlining your teaching vision and your commitment to EDI. Please outline your areas of teaching expertise and how you see yourself contributing to teaching across the entire breadth and depth of core (bio)chemical engineering in our undergraduate and postgraduate taught degrees. Your commitment to EDI should include an outline how you have promoted or implemented EDI in your workplace. and how you embed this in your daily activities especially when working with and training undergraduate students. This document is a mandatory component of the selection process without which we will be unable to progress your application.
